Policies

In our continuing effort to be respectful, effective and fair to all of our clients, we have adopted the following policies:

Arriving Late/No Shows/Cancellations

Our time together is important. We understand that life happens and appointments need to be changed sometimes. Please respect our time and we will respect yours. Please call us and do not send an email to cancel an appointment. We are often in sessions all day and may not be available to check emails in a timely manner. We sincerely thank you for your consideration.

Massage for Children/Minors

Any client under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present for the initial appointment to sign a consent form. At that time, I will go over with the parent and child in the treatment room what will go on during the massage and I will be able to answer any questions you may have. The parent may be present in the treatment room during the massage if you wish.

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.

Confidentiality and Conversation

Discussion between the massage therapist and the client is confidential, what is discussed in the room stays in the room. The client may or may not choose to talk during the massage.
